Hi Everybody,
I am curious as to how many of you folks in this forum have joined the project stardust@home.
I joined it when it first came online and so far I have analyzed hundreds of Images looking for particle tracks, and I enjoy helping in anyway that I can.
It's very easy to pass the training program and, you can download a certificate from the Planetary Society, that shows you passed the training requirements for analyzing the Aero Gel material for Cometary Particle Tracks from the Stardust Space Craft.
You dont download anything at all just sign up take the training course pass it and start looking at Electron Microscopic sectional views in your browser, its very easy to do but you must have JAVA enabled in your browser, you will use your mouse to zoom in and out of focus to find any tracks in the Aerogel, and you get credit fot the ones you find and get to name it very cool!
