Conjunction Of Venus and Jupiter February 1 2008

There is an upcoming conjunction of Venus and Jupiter on February 1st, 2008. Both planets will be visible in the south eastern horizon about one hour before sunrise. They will be in the sky about 1/2 a degree apart from each other. These are very bright objects and will definitely be worth seeing. A wide angle eyepiece or better yet a good pair of binoculars should make observing this conjunction of these planets even more enjoyable.
