i think the next close up of mars will be in 2018 August 1 to August 4 and it will be at a distance of .386 au and back in 2003 it was at .373 au which is 34 milllion miles , so i quess we have to wait for 2018 to see the little guy!,,:P

Here ya go: http://positron.ps.uci.edu/~dkirkby/Mars/ . This page shows the close approach in 2003, and it also shows that, as ozzmoziz said, it will be the closest of the close again in 2018.

And, that this year in the fall, it will be at one of the farthest positions from Earth that it can get. So again, I still have no idea what Supercell is trying to say here, especially with "due to close up galaxies."

there will aslo be a close fly by in 2007 dec from 18 of dec to 19 of dec mars will be at .5893 au from earth and will be high in the sky 67 dec it will be 16 arcseconds, i know when it was close before i did t have anycams to take pics but this time am ready! :P

No, the Big Crunch is ruled out right now as the Universe is accelerating it's expansion.
