About sun observation

It will be more better to install the "hubble like" instrument eighter on mercury or on alpha centaury, and a x-ray telescope for the close readings of the sun, otherwise it will not be possible to send the instrument more nearer to the sun ( it will be burst).

Uptil we have seen the images of sun more big, clear, rigid ball like images, orange colour images, but yet we have not seen more clear and bigger images of the sun, due to our technological barriers to send the insrtument very closer to the sun.

in all observations, solar observation is much more important, because the radiation of the sun is a most dangerous thing for us to bare, and direct viewing sun by the naked eyes is much horrible and never to see. for solar observation there is a need of a correct guide or a master to show the sun in right way.

I would just like to point out that we can see as close to the sun as we need too, why do we need to see any closer? We already have photographed individual chambers on the surface, and that's as far as it goes for sun imagery.

thanks dragon for the reply, there were some contradiction about the formation of sun, hence there is need to have a " very close photos of sun". some says that sun has a rigid platform, some says its only a gas giant and nothing more.

I have been thinking of trying Solar Imaging with my 6 inch Refractor, but the cost of a full aperture HA filter would send my wife into divorce court.
I've seen the Images made with the Mylar type lens covers but I would Prefer the HA over the blue or white light that the other filters make.
I have never had a chance to see the Sun through a PST Scope from Coronado, But from the images I've seen on the internet I was impressed, Really Cool!

Perhaps you could start with a cheaper mylar cover, see how you like it, show your wife, and then maybe she'll let you buy the H-alpha filter.

That may Work, if I can ever get her to take an interest in Astronomy at all!
LOL!
She thinks all Galaxies and those fuzzies all look alike!
no interest or understanding or maybe even basic concepts of Astronomy at all. dont get me wrong she is extremely intelligent. She was a PRN.
If something does'nt interest her she wont even bother with the subject.
But I like your line of thinking!
