| Tracking software
does anyone here use software like Max DSLR for tracking/guiding during the taking of longer exposures? Just wondering the CPC has good tracking for the visual but for the extened photos stars streak. Im just wondering whats out there and what people are using and how happy . Ive got guide -dog and really havent got to use it yet. Guide-dog is a more basic tracking program . Dave      |

Hi Dave, Take at look at PHD Guiding. It's an excellent guiding program and it's free. The stars will streak no matter what guiding program you use if you are not properly polar aligned. Regards,
