sunspot

Well I had today off and got a shot of the spotlight before the rain happened this afternoon.
Its been a while since I had some worthwhile viewing and now with summer setting in ,its almost 10:30 pm to see the north star for polar alignment.

equipment used

I used my Canon rebel XT with the T-ring and adaptor and the standard Celestron solar mylar filter on a Nexstar 8 SE.
