NGC 7479 With the DSI

Last night the weather looked promising but the transparency was rather poor, nevertheless I decided to image some NGC objects that I have never even seen before.
The first target I chose was NGC 7479.
I used my C6RGT Refractor with the Atik 0.5X focal reducer and a minus violet filter, I stacked 50, 30 second subs with the Meade 1st generation one shot camera, but I decided since the transparency was poor I used the camera in Mono,
I do have a light gradient in the upper right part of the image most likely due to the street lamp that was lighting up the Humidity in the air, so I did not stretch it after the final stacking, I did however use Photo shop to reduce some star bloat.
I have three other NGC objects that I imaged last night also, but I still need to process them and upload them to my wife's Computer before I can post them.
Here is my preliminary result, I need to learn how to remove light gradients in Photo Shop 7.0 to really be able to stretch this image and show the arms of this Galaxy in greater detail.
Thanks for Looking

Dennis
