Canon EOS Rebel XTi

Just got my hands on a brand new Rebel XTi, the battery is charging right now >.< Installing software and reading manuals and whatnot, but I just had to post that I bought the camera and ill be taking my first astro-photography images tomorrow night with it. If anyone has used this camera before, and has some settings that work well, if you could let me know, that would be awsome.

Let us know how you make out. I can feel the excitement from here. I'll never forget the thrill I had when I captured a galaxy on my DSLR and saw it for the first time.

Have FUN!!

Regards,

A new note on this, I just went to the local London Drugs, and purchased a remote for using the bulb feature. However it has to be shipped in from Calgary, and will be about a week. I should get it next Tuesday. Then ill be able to do more reliable long exposures, where i dont have to hold down the button with my hand. I'm going to upload one 2 min exposure i took though, that i held down the button for. Its totally unedited, I'm just proud of how steady I made it =D Ill edit this post, and put in its link once I do.
