nice pics

Im trying to get a shot of Mars but so far not to much luck with the friggan webcam.
Ive got this laptop with Vista, and I would prefer XP.
The ease of the webcam and other software on XP is better, at least thats what I find.
I have also found there isnt some patchs for other software, for instance Nero, but you can buy new software thats campatable with Vista, even if you have previously bought their software.
Im going to use my Deep Sky Imager , the only thing its monochrome not colour, add some filters and I will see what I get.

Great pics man.

I think what he meant by "This laptop came with vista" is that he recently bought the laptop, and it came with vista. Whih would mean he doesnt have a version of XP to roll back to.

I had vista...well, I still do have vista ultimate, and I found the same problem, with a few of my older programs still not having patches available. But that was tolerable, the only reason I rolled back to XP was because vista was just too power hungry. With vista, I was no longer able to play battlefield 2142 at max graphics, which was really too bad =p and running fraps at the same time to boot? say hello to near minimum graphics =p So I rolled back to xp, so I can run all my games at max graphics without hiccuping anymore =p

Clear Skies,
Buldric
