Barnard 33 Filters

I was wondering if anyone is able to tell the if the hydrogen-beta filter is required for photography of barnard 33, or if its for visual observing? I know its supposedly "necissary" for visual observing (which suprises me as it has such a bright magnitude rating), but do I have to have it to photograph it?

Barnard 33 being the horsehead nebula.

Clear Skies,
Buldric.

Allright, I heard that my Lumicon Narrow Band filter might do the job. It's no H-Beta filter, but it will be better than nothing!
