Pentax XW 10

Had a chance to test out a new eyepiece of mine tonight.

This thing is huge! I was kinda surprised by how big it is. It's about 125mm (sorry, the only measuring tool I have close by is a metric scale [ruler]) tall, extended or 110mm tall, retracted. The body diameter is around 55mm.

There was a barely noticeable green tinge around the edge of the moon. Contrast on the moon looked good (although now probably isn't the best time to test that. Full moon - no shadows).

Saturn looked pretty much the same as through my 9mm Burgess/TMB.

It seemed like I could see more of M42 than with my other eyepieces. I don't really know the reason for that.

I didn't really notice anything bad about it, but I was just looking at the stuff I normally look at so maybe I didn't push it hard enough.

I'm not very good at writing reviews, and I don't really know all of the technical stuff, but if you have some specific question about it I'll try to answer it.

all pentax cameras are fine one, and mostly I have observed that all photographers (95% of them) having pentax cameras, hence the series of pentax is marvelous one. But I would like to see your shots through this camera, Mangler !.

Sorry, It's a telescope eyepiece made by Pentax, not a Pentax camera.

I don't have the equipment to photograph planets right now. (I could, but they would just be dots.) Right now I'm limited to constellations and the moon. (My avatar is one of my moon pictures.)
