Hi folks I just thought I would let everyone know that so far all of the pros that I have consulted, or at least people with much more knowledge than myself, seem to agree, so I did fire off another more precise e-mail to the AAVSO. Now its a waiting game for sure, I wonder how long validation and Verification will take? the suspense is killing me, but I am not keeping my hopes up on this one! Dennis

| Possible Variable Star Discovery
HEllo everyone! After talking with the AAVSO on the phone today, I was able to submit my info on the possible new red variable that I may have found near M-51. After speaking with Elizabeth, at the AAVSO, she said it would be a good idea to put the word out to other imagers to see if anyone else has captured the star in question. She also stated that I may be in for a long project ,to acquire as many images past, present, and future, of the region in question,as this may help further this possible discovery, to confirm, or to rule out this anamoly. So I ask all of you imagers that have taken images of m-51 to review or post your images of M-51, or to report any concurring images that show the star in question. I include here my image, and the dss1r band taken back in 1956. And a great big thank you to all of you in advance that can help with your images Dennis
