New Research On Magnetars !

Hi folks!
For those of you that dont have a subscription to Astronomy Magazine,
they have an article detailing some fantastic new Magnetar research.
A recent massive energetic outburst was detected on Dec 24 2004 SGR 1806-20 it let loose again. the Eruption was the most energetic blast from outside our Solar System Astronomers have ever Recorded. there seems to be a problem with the website posting compared to the info in the Magazine it gives gives different Values then whats actually printed.
In just 0.2 sec the Magnetar released more energy than the Sun gives off in 250,000 yrs. its still impressive which ever Value is correct!
Go to Astronomy .com for more Info
