DSI PRO Dead!

Hi Folks just a word of caution!
be careful with the USB connector on the camer body!
Mine now wiggles with the camera driver bieng dropped at random.
Apparently I stressed the connector some how, I really dont know how it happened, but my USB Cords are good! tried 10 of them, and they work with other equipment.
I think that just the weight of the 10ft cord, and bieng plugged an unplugged did it!
I am waiting to hear back from Meade!

Meade DSI connector

Dennis,
I am having the same problem with my original DSI color. I thought it was the USB cord too, but it's the connection. It's loose. I have to be careful not to touch the cord when I am imaging. If it gets touched, the camera turns off. Frustrating, and I don't know what can be done about it except replace the USB recepticle on the camera.........and I have heard horror stories about Meade's service dept. Two guys in our club own Meade's Coronado PST's. They sent them in to Meade due to corrosion on the lenses....and waited several "months" for them to be repaired and returned.
