A proper thread for gaming

Allright, I thought that we were derailing ozz's nice paintbrushed image thread a little bit, so I'll just start a new thread for this conversation!

I was right, all my diablo 2 chars are TOAST, hehe, too bad, 90 scorc in full set from Tal'Rasha =p bit of an, unhappyness, but oh well, just as fun to start over! I'm more than up to a free run though the game! Just give me an idea of what character to create. I dont remember the game mechanics anymore, so I dont remember exactly whats good where etc etc.

I'll get back home around 10:00, im going to see The Mist tonight. I remember reading the short story way back, remember it almost word for word as it was one of my favorite storeis by stephen. So no matter how many bad reviews I read, I still HAVE to go see it, no option there.

However once I get back, I'll install Diable 2 LoD, and I'll be on all night, waiting just for you=D... or anyone else who decides to show up as well. Ill make the character named Buldric, US ladder West right? I have my msn address on my profile if you somehow need to get ahold of me if something goes wrong.

Clear Skies, Happy gaming, Beware the sun.

Buldric

I stayed on as long as I could. I have my last exam for this semester today. I was up to about 9:00am GMT, 1:00am PST. Wasnt able to find you online. I took a pally to level 8=p He's doing decent for drops, so far he has gotten about 4 unique throwing knives, a unique katar, and a unique small shield, and unique leather armor=p all usless and sold, but meh. I finished the quest to get the parter, and grabbed the portal-mabob to cold plains. And that's about as far as I got.... about 8-1/2.

I invested the skill points, keeping it fairly balanced for now, concentrating on str, and agil. I only spent 2 out of 8 talent points, 1 in might, 1 in holy fire, as im still not sure how I'm going to spec him. I'm not sure if even the pally is as good as I remember it =p Or if im some fool leveling a PoS class, heh. Wouldn't be the first time. Im going to do some snooping around the web for a class guide while I wait for my exam time. If you get online before then, or at any time at all, feel free to leave your thoughts on class strengths/weaknesses/pally strategies etc etc.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I will be on again tonight, at an earlier time, and since I have tomorrow off, ALL TOMORROW! ahahahaha!.... Also, I decided I will make a new healadin. Which of course I'll have to start over, as I screwed up 2 talent points. No matter what game I play I always end up being a healer....dont know why. I enjoy it, and I guess thats all the reason I need. Just keep looking for Buldric whenever you log on. Ill just delete the last one I made, its only level 8, heh.

Clear Skies,
Buldric

Allright, I think I understand the problem here. Time zones! Time zones! Time Zones! Is my night your day or something? =p You say your in Montreal so...If i go online at 6:30, to meet me online at the same time, you should be going online at....9:30 your time. Your 3 hours ahead.

Which is why you probably didnt catch me "last night" When I got on at 10:30pm, it was already 1:30am there, and when I logged off at 1:30am, it was 4:30 AM at your place! so that should be fine if I logon at or before 6:30 right? Tomorrow I'll be on much, much earlier as well.

But tonight if you want to be on at/before/around 9:30 your time(if you truely do live in Montreal, which I don't doubt) Would be awsome. Remember, Buldric!

I'll keep trying to send messages to that character name you posted. Also I hear if you use /w [accountname] it will send a message to that person regardless of what character they are on. I'll PM you my account name so you can use that, if you want to do the same, in case I happen to fall half asleep (whether from the effects of alcohol or not ) and make a new character. Or if you log onto a diff character.

I get off work at 5:00, so It's percievable I might be on as early as 5:30/5:45, 8:30/8:45 your time. But its about 50% chance. Depends if I go to pick up a few groceries on the way home tonight... Don't think so, so its prob actually 70% chance for 8:45 your time . But whenever you can get on is peeeeerrrfectly fine of course. I'll just buzz along on my own while I wait. I am skilled at RPG's, im sure I can crank up the /players and have some fun on my own, healer or otherwise ....First act anyways.

I'm going to track down that build again, and show it to you, the "ultimate goal" build, tell me what you think. Ill edit this post, instead of making anotherone. Artificial post count inflation FTL. But for some reason when I make a post on one computer, I can only edit it on THAT computer...

*edit* The Thingamabob I was talking about is HERE!*edit*

Clear Skies,
Buldric

Yea, timezones can be a bugger. (especially when you're doing business from two locations in different time zones. Yeesh.)

Alright, sorry about not being online for so long, I have been having "issues" with my internet. However, I talked to Telus(my ISP), and they said they have taken care of it.

I should be coming back online and gaming soon.
