| Binoculars Binoculars have great portability and are easy to setup. Binoculars are also a great tool to get started in observing the night sky. Discuss them here. |

Yes Diana and Dragon, Binos great. The biggest problem with binos of higher magnification, is shake. Many weird and wonderful supports been manufactured, and sold, to provide a 'steady view'. Bought Canon IS 50/15, never regreted the day I did, over the moon with them, (forgive the pun). One thing I have found, porro prisms better than roof prisms when viewing bright objects like the moon. nokton. |

| Camera Binos
Celestron has a whole line of them . Ive never tried them for Astro stuff, but its a idea worth trying. I know one thing for sure stability in the camera/bino while taking shots is a must. A friend has a pair and took them to a concert, he had them hanging around his neck as binos would, they let him in. He took 54 photos.Any photo that had movement was blurred. |
