moonlite focusers

Hi guys

I just got myself a brand new moonlite focuser, and so far am very happy of my new buy.

The focuser tube is very precisely made, starting with 3 rings to hold the 1.25 inch tube , so it stays nice and center and will not move for nothen!!
The 1.25 tube as a ring of its own and is about 1/2 inch thick ,when putting an eyepiece or the chisair inside it will stay in place and will not move not even a mm.
the adapter for the focuser as 4 hex screws and on each screw as an hex screw for adjustment on the lvling of the focuser, which is very helpfull.

The drawtube itself is very smooth, goes like butter, also have an ajustment for tightness on the focus itself

All and all a premium piece of equipment, i think i will have this for life!

As an example with my other focuser when colimating it would not be very centered and precise so i would never find the center of my mirror no mater what, with the moon lite wow its center and stays there!

also if id go over 200X on my other focuser id have a problem getting a perfect focus, last nite i took it out for a test i put my 5 mm and at 200X i had no problem.
i then put my 12.5 cel and my 3x barlow and got it up to 240x no problem there eather.
now for the real test put in my 10 mm with barlow now at 300 times and very easy to find focus.

now for the big test!! 6.4 meade 156 x3with barlow 468.75 x and still was very easy to find focus.. seeing was maybe 2 /5 at must.

conclusion a must for any telescope nothen compares with a moonlite..
