Just get a webcam and adapt it to your scope .
Some tracking/guiding software, and then its just a matter of the spectroscope software.
A fellow I know has a 8 inch CPC by Celestron on a wedge and dedicates it to star data collecting.
Im a viewer more than a photo guy or data collector.
I tinker and dable more than anything.
