I live in a small market town in rural Oxfordshire, England and light pollution is not too bad apart that is for a amber street light some 75mt away to the south and also some times people's need to light up there gardens all night with security lights!! On those night I just give up
My camera is a Meade DSI 1 colour on a LX90 8in and yes I did use a 3-3 FR. and images were stacked with envisage.
