I found a very useful and interesting site the other day. The site is all about choosing a telescope and has lots of advice for beginners. You can find info. on just about anything related to telescopes. One of the many articles I found very interesting was the article on "How to get started and avoid failure".

Also I thought it would be nice if anyone who has experience with telescopes could leave some advice for beginners and let us know the different experiences you have had with certain telescopes.
