Here is the ISO 3200 image of M42 the Orion Nebula. I used the curves function in Photoshop to bring it to life. I then used Neat Image to kill a lot of the noise which did a fantastic job. I am rather happy with the results. 72 15 second subs, ISO 3200, and a Full Moon sure keeps me optimistic about the possibility of using my DSLR a lot more.
I am not sure if you have noticed this, but when you go to the full image in the Gallery, if someone has uploaded a large enough image, you can click on the image and it will present it in a very cool way with a nice semi dark background.
