Its been way to cold and windy for me here in New Hampshire the last couple of days, the wind chill was around -20F coupled with the Moon in the sky.
This has detered me from getting out there and imaging.
How did you do with M-42?

Hi Dennis,
Just the Canon 20D through the SkyWatcher refractor. No filters or polarizer. Did about 12 shots varying the exposure by .001 of a second each time and picked the best one this morning.
I won't know the outcome of M42 for a couple of days. Other than combining all the images I haven't done any sort of processing or adjustments yet. 15 second subs using a DSLR with a full moon at ISO3200 might prove to be more than this nebula can handle.
