I still haven't caught up with 8P/Tuttle. The sky has been overcast for some time except for 2 nights in a row here - and wouldn't you know it, each of those nights I went out to check visibility, saw that it was clear, went back inside for 10 minutes to check finder charts, went back outside only to find that the sky had clouded over!
But at least I can still locate Comet Holmes.
