The first working prototype is designed to prove that frame dragging does exist, by injecting either neutrons which have spin or, polarized light, the effects can then be measured directly in the lab.
If his calculations are correct, which all seem to agree that they are, then the next step is a much bigger machine using higher energy lasers. his calculations show that higher energies are needed to produce the closed time loops and that the energy of the lasers and the size of the laser ring are closely related, also stacking of the lasers can produce the higher energies required to form a closed time loop.
Its at that final stage where the messages from the future could possibly start appearing in our time line.
The implications have my head spinning!
