Even a large mass comet wouldn't really matter =p. Somehow even though I would most definately believe there are comets constantly hitting the sun, I fail to believe that there is 100 million tons worth of comets/asteroids hitting the sun every second. In fact, their would need to be MUCH more than that per second to get that much combustable material back(which the sun shed).
