I tried to research this for you from the Meade Manual available online.

they do make a 12 volt DC cigarette lighter adapter to run your scope, and a AC to dc transformer, but no specifics as to what the amperage requirement is and, if it needs to be regulated. you may just need that adapter cord to use a standard 12 volt car battery.
I would first check with the Meade technical support section online, Via e-mail, or just call a local dealer or Meade's 800 tech support line.
I would assume that the Orion Power Pack or the Celestron power pack should work fine on your scope. but I would check with Meade just to make sure you dont fry your electronics since most ciggarette lighter ports are regulated via your cars voltage regulator circuitry.
