Some have even said, that there are really only 4 Planets,
they argue that since the others are frozen gas giants, and, if they were to be as close as our planet, they would simply defrost and dissapear,

One such argument That I heard on the Science Channel said that Pluto should not be a planet since if it were close enough to the sun it would evaporate! the same goes for the frozen gas Giants!

I agree that we had to draw a line in the sand, since our Science has evolved, since the term, "planet" was first used.
some disagree, and some agree, with the new classification.
I for one really dont care, The whole thing seems silly to me.
I dont mind either way whether its a planet or a Dwarf planet.
with all of the recent Kuiper belt discoveries they had to do something.
Just my honest opinion.
