Thanks for creating the Accessories topic and moving the thread, Darryl.

Took the dust caps off and looked inside, everything was threaded and coated with anti-reflective material. The mirror looked flawless (I'm no mirror expert, but it looked pretty good).
The brass compression ring locked the eyepieces in nice and tight.

Something I didn't consider when I bought it: Some of my eyepieces have a groove in the barrel for the lock screw to go into. The compression ring happens to be centered right over the edge of the groove. Would it affect anything if I clamped down the eyepiece with it slicking out slightly so that the compression ring has a flat surface to tighten down on? I'm assuming it would affect the focus slightly, but that's no big deal. Is there anything else that might be an issue?
If I had to, it looks like it would be possible to take the compression ring out - then it would work like a regular thumbscrew (or just rotate the ring so that the screw goes through the gap in it).

I'll give a better review of it once I get to use it (which looks like it will be at least a few days from now). I want to compare it to my old one and see what kind of differance it makes.
