By now we're all familiar with the APOD (Astronomy Picture Of the Day), but how about
the LPOD? There are some wonderful and inspiring Moon images there worthy of attention! I just discovered this site and thought I'd mention it in case any of you haven't seen it before. One of the best parts is that you can submit your own photos of the Moon for consideration. Below is an excerpt from their photo gallery commentary.

To add images you must register (sorry, it is separate from the LPOD registration) but it is easy. Please do not start a new gallery but add to the main one with all the images. Please keep images smaller than 1 Mb.
